Terry Farrell is an architect and urban designer with a global reputation and is considered to be Britain’s most successful architectural masterplanner, with offices in London, Edinburgh and Hong Kong. In practice for over 40 years, he has completed iconic, award-winning buildings and masterplans in cities including London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Seoul.

Terry is the government champion for the planning of the Thames Gateway, author of the just published Kent Vision, involving a strategic transport study, and a member of the London Mayor’s Design Advisory Panel, in which role he is examining large scale regional transport issues.

Internationally, the practice is also building significant train interchanges throughout Asia and South Africa, including Beijing South, one of the largest railway stations in the world, and which was completed for the Beijing Olympics. Development of Farrells Kowloon station masterplan in Hong Kong is now complete, with over 12 million sq ft of floor space facilitated by the new transport interchange.
