Paul is an Associate Urban Designer and Chartered Landscape Architect in Atkins’ London office, leading on regeneration, masterplanning, and public realm projects across the UK.

In recent years he has particularly focussed on transport related projects, and is currently managing delivery of public realm schemes for Tottenham Court Road and Custom House Crossrail Stations in London. His is also leading on the development of a regeneration framework for Digbeth in Birmingham, and he has recently completed a masterplan for a new station and mixed use urban quarter in Belfast and a vision masterplan for Euston in London.   

Paul’s varied experience includes working with local authorities, central government and private developers in producing people-orientated masterplans for large and complex sites where a robust movement strategy is essential in underpinning a successful development proposal.   

In 2009 Paul was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), and was appointed as an Expert Advisor to the Northern Ireland Ministerial Advisory Group on Architecture and the Built Environment (NI equivalent of CABE).  

He is a member of both the Urban Design Group Executive Committee, and the London Borough of Hackney’s design review panel, and he has also written numerous articles in professional publications, and has spoken at a number of industry conferences.
